Quay steward

We are looking for great colleagues for the spring & summer season!

Are you looking for a challenging position on the water combined with freedom, responsibility and variety? For Flagship Amsterdam – a young cruise company in Amsterdam – we are looking for several quay stewards for the spring & summer season (starting from March/ April). 

What will you be doing?

As a quay steward you are responsible for receiving, guiding and informing our guests on the quay where our boats depart. You check tickets and help passers with questions. You are the first point of contact. 

In your function, you will be:

• Receiving and welcoming our guests;
• Checking tickets;
• Informing guests about departure times;
• You are the link between the skippers and guests;
• Helping our guests get on and off the boat;
• Helping the skipper and hostess clean up the boat.

Job requirements

• You are available at least 2 days a week, including 1 weekend day. You are also willing to work in the evenings;
• Experience in hotels, restaurant and/or cafés is an advantage;
  
• Good mastery of English, Dutch is an advantage;
• You can work well with timetables;
• You are good in communicating and transferring information;
• You are independent and flexible.
