Host/bartender on luxury canal cruise

Are you looking for a challenging position on the water combined with freedom, responsibility and variety? For Flagship Amsterdam – a young cruise company in Amsterdam – we are looking for several host(esse)s for the spring and summer season. 

What will you be doing?

The best way to admire Amsterdam is of course from the water. As host(ess) at Flagship you provide our guests with an unforgettable canal cruise. While sailing through the canals, the guests enjoy a drink while you and the skipper tell fun stories and facts about Amsterdam. Last year our canal cruise won the Trip Advisor Award ‘Best Experience in the World’ and we strive to keep it up! Will you join our friendly and ambitious team?

In your position you will:
– Welcome guests on board;
– Serve drinks (including beer, soda, wine and cocktails);
– Entertain guests with stories about Amsterdam (no worries, we’ll teach you this);
– Process payments at the end of the tour.

Job requirements

• Experience in hotels, restaurant and/or cafés is an advantage;
• Good mastery of English, Dutch is an advantage;
• You are hospitable, outgoing and have a smooth chat;
• You always have a smile on your face;
• You are available at least 2 days a week, including 1 weekend day. You are also willing to work in the evenings.
