The boarding point is on the Oosterdokskade 8 next to the restaurant: Sea Palace, the boarding point cannot be changed.

If you experience trouble with redeeming your Groupon voucher we would suggest that you mail to info@amsterdamboatexperience.com. Our boats depart on a fixed time, the four different departure times are 16:45, 18:25, 20:05 and 21:45.

We suggest to you that you will be on location 20 minutes before departure time.

The tour takes about 75 minutes

In general, the tours take not much longer then 75 minutes. However in the weekends and holidays we have to deal with it being more busy then usual on the water. This is why in some rare cases we might not be on time.

For the regular Amsterdam Light Festival tours we will serve a piece of Christmas bread. On private-tours we serve something else.

On board we have a variety of soda’s, beers, wine and muled wine (glühwein)

Bringing your own food and drinks on board is not allowed.

The price is the same for all ages.

Yes, all of the boats we sail in are child friendly.

No, we have to abide to the rules of the canal police. A small child or baby is still counted as a person and we are not allowed to bring more people on board then the given max.

We cannot bring any large pets on board with the exception of lap dogs.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible. However we will be glad to help any physically impaired person on board. Through the years we have carried many physically impaired people on board during the Amsterdam Light Festival.

For the regular tours during the Amsterdam Light Festival we have no toilets on board. On request for private tours it might be possible to get a toilet on board.

No, the township of Amsterdam has a restriction on music on board

All boats are covered with a roof

Our roof’s are for 70 to 100% transparent

All boats are heated
